In South Africa, this campaign is of particular significance due to the country's high rates of violence against women and children. Youth and children are both at the centre of the campaign. The campaign highlights the critical role of young people in ending gender-based violence (GBV) and ensuring a safer environment for all, particularly vulnerable groups like women and children.16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children 2024
