The Parliamentary Digital Archive is an ongoing project to make all parliamentary documentation available online and thus provide access to Parliament's historic records. The historical content offers insight into the political, social, and cultural roles Parliament has played in the development of South Africa since 1854. Through easy access to this information, it is anticipated that public involvement in legislative processes may be improved by way of having better informed debates on relevant issues..
